Jesper D. Lund is a Danish photographer and director who lives and works between New York and Paris.
In 2014, Lund co-founded office, a New York-based magazine dedicated to fashion, art, music, and culture. Through both his editorial work and personal photography, he has developed a visual language that is attentive to character, atmosphere, and the unexpected moments found within familiar surroundings.
His first book project, CANAL, brings together photographs made around Canal Street in downtown New York between 2016 and 2022. Shot alongside the everyday routine of working in the neighborhood, the series reflects Lund’s instinct for finding images within the ordinary and assembling them into a personal portrait of place.
